NOTE: Sausage Fest is a private picnic for friends and family of Dan and Jen Panattoni.
History
Sausage-Fest was an idea founded by a man with a dream. A man from Chicago that has a passion for meat…and in particular, meat that has been processed and then stuffed into the intestinal casings of another animal. This man and his lovely wife took their sausage infused dream and made it a reality by starting an annual picnic where families and friends could join together in celebration of this fine delicacy.
Then Dan and Jen found this man's web site and blatantly ripped off the idea and started their own sausage fest. Thus the birth of the Inaugural Panattoni Labor Day Sausage-Fest!

Donations
Groves, grills and entertainment all cost money….money the Panattonis don’t necessarily have. So we are asking for a donation of $10 per adult to help cover expenses. Sausagefest needs your help!
In addition, all proceeds will be donated to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention:

What should you bring?
- Beverages. Bring Beer, because you guys drink a lot and we can't support your habit. If you don't drink beer, then bring whatever you enjoy drinking. There is a $150 fine for glass bottles. So, NO GLASS BOTTLES.
- Sausages. Each person is required to bring enough sausage to feed 12 people. It's better to have too many than too little and most sausages come in a case of a dozen or so. We're gonna cut them up into bite size pieces and pass around for everyone to taste.
- Non-Sausage Type Food. Bring any sides you want to have with your sausage. (Deech likes mustard Potato salad and when I say likes it, I mean, he wants to marry it)
- Entertainment. Bring stuff you like to do at picnics. Softballs, beanbags, Frisbee etc. We will have some organized events and games, but the more fun stuff, the better.
- A Place to Sit. There are picnic tables and a pavilion at the picnic grove. But bring some chairs or whatever you need to make yourself comfortable.
